The winners of the Atlantic Book Awards were named at a gala event in Halifax on June 5.
Along with the annual book awards and the inaugural readers’ choice award, the 2024 Atlantic Legacy Award was presented to Gloria Ann Wesley, a poet, children’s author, and retired teacher.
The winners were chosen from shortlists announced in April.
