Nine Canadian writers from the prairies have been shortlisted for 2024 High Plains Book Awards. Winners will be announced on October 5 in Billings, Montana.
The book awards recognize regional authors and literary works that examine and reflect life on the high plains, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Nominated books must have been published for the first time in 2023.
