Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize for Non-fiction jury (l-r): Ivan Coyote, Trevor Herriot, and Manjushree Thapa

The three-member jury has been announced for the Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize for Non-fiction. The jury members are Vancouver writer and filmmaker Ivan Coyote, Regina prairie naturalist Trevor Herriot, and Toronto author and literary translator Manjushree Thapa.

The $60,000 prize for Canadian non-fiction writing is to be presented at the Writers’ Trust Awards on Nov. 5 at a gala in Toronto. The shortlist will be announced on Sept. 17.
