Poet Tenille Campbell and the University of Regina Press were the big winners at this year’s Saskatchewan Book Awards, which took place April 28 in Regina.
Campbell’s debut poetry collection, #IndianLovePoems (Signature Editions), received two awards, as did breathing at dusk by Beth Goobie (Coteau Books). The University of Regina Press swept all three publishers’ awards, and picked up a scholarly writing prize for Kathleen Carlisle’s Fiery Joe: The Maverick Who Lit Up the West.
