The winner of the inaugural Al and Eurithe Purdy Poetry Prize of $10,000 for the best new book of poetry in Canada will be announced on April 21 — the 24th anniversary of the poet’s death.
2024 Griffin Poetry Prize longlist announced
A five-book shortlist will be announced on April 17, with the winner to be announced on June 5.
John Vaillant, Astra Taylor among writers shortlisted for 2024 Shaughnessy Cohen Prize
The winner will be announced on May 7 at the Politics and the Pen gala in Ottawa.
