On Sept. 25, 150 teenagers packed the Chapters in Brampton, Ontario, to meet YA novelist Maggie Stiefvater, in town to promote her new book, The Raven Boys (Scholastic Canada).
Across the country, John Vigna celebrated the launch of his debut short-story collection, Bull Head (Arsenal Pulp Press) appropriately on Sept. 19, at Vancouver’s The Bourbon Country, where guests tested their cowboy skills on a mechanical bull.
