Feminist publisher Second Story Press celebrated its 25th anniversary Dec. 5 with a party at the Cecil Street Community Centre in Toronto. Attendees were treated to musical entertainment by former Parachute Club singer Lorraine Segato, and president and publisher Margie Wolfe’s announcement of the inaugural Aboriginal Writing Contest, created in honour of the press’s milestone.
