
Tamas Dobozy and Linda Spalding received their second nominations of the fall awards season
The Governor General’s Literary Awards announced its 2012 finalists this morning, adding several first-time nominees to the betting pool.
In the fiction category, Tamas Dobozy and Linda Spalding, both shortlisted for the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize, received their second nominations of the fall awards season. The shortlist is rounded out by Scotiabank Giller Prize“winner Vincent Lam’s debut novel, Robert Hough’s fourth book, and short-story collections by Tamas Dobozy and Carrie Snyder.
The winners, each of whom receives $25,000, will be announced Nov. 13 at a ceremony in Ottawa.
