A.F. Moritz, Jan Wagner, and Anne Waldman. (Griffin Poetry Prize)
The Griffin Poetry Prize has announced the three judges for the 2024 prize.
Canadian poet A.F. Moritz, German poet Jan Wagner, and American poet Anne Waldman have been named the judges for next year’s prize. 2024 will be the second year the prize awards one winner instead of two, after it announced in 2022 that it would be merging the Canadian and international categories into one prize worth $130,000.
The second submission deadline for next year’s prize, for books published between July 1 and December 31, is December 29. The submission deadline for books published in the first half of the year was June 30.
