Stuart Ross and Sanna Wani are among the four winners of the 2023 Trillium Book Awards/Prix Trillium.
Ontario Creates announced the winners at a ceremony in Toronto on June 20.
The winners are:

Trillium Book Award for Poetry
- My Grief, the Sun by Sanna Wani (House of Anansi Press)
Prix Trillium
- Circé des hirondelles by Gilles Lacombe (L’Interligne)

The winners were chosen from shortlists announced earlier this year.
The annual awards recognize excellence in Ontario’s writers in both French and English. Winning authors receive $20,000, and their publishers receive $2,500 to market and promote the winning titles.
Correction, June 22: This story has been updated to reflect that winners receive $20,000 not $10,000.
