The League of Canadian Poets has announced the winners of this year’s book awards.

The three awards each carry a $2,000 prize.

The recipients were chosen from the shortlists announced last month.

Gerald Lampert Memorial Award (Best new debut book of poetry)

• Whitemud Walking by Matthew James Weigel (Coach House Books)

Pat Lowther Memorial Award (Best new book of poetry by a woman)

• Quiet Night Think by Gillian Sze (ECW Press)

Raymond Souster Award (Best new book of poetry by a League member)

• Vox Humana by Adebe DeRango-Adem (Book*hug Press)
